Built in 1989 and not quite 29 square foot, the world's smallest Church sits on a wooden dock in a pond near Syracuse.

In 1990 a wedding was conducted there, as the tiny house of worship has only two seats, everyone but the Bride, Groom and Minister were anchored in boats outside.

Cross Island Chapel is non-denominational and there are no regular services, but it is still available for special occasions.
