The beach is very relaxed, and marine animals can be found in the ocean including jellyfish and stingrays. There is also handicapped access to the beach. Kiawah Island Kiawah Island is a golf resort which offers a wide range of activities for the whole family. As well as an award winning golf course, there is also tennis, kayaking, and beach rental homes. As well as shopping, and many fine dining restaurants featuring local seafood. With over 10 miles of beautiful white sandy beaches, which offer a large swimming area, showers and restrooms, and picnic and bbq areas. Isle of Palms Isle of Palms offers something for everyone. With all kinds of boating from kayaking, jet skiing and fishing cruises. Fishing at the marina, or straight off the beach, and two golf courses. Body boards are available for rental, and there are picnicking and changing facilities at the beach. There is also a wide variety of wildlife including the loggerhead turtles who lay their eggs on the beach, and can be spotted hatching.
